This 1991 Caprice was built to resemble a police 9C1 police car package, for detective use. It was converted from the Revell Fire Chief/Taxi kit. Everything got a good coat of primer to cover the yellow plastic and the repair work to the roof to fill in a couple of holes. It has license plates for the Pocatello (poke at tello), Idaho Police Department. This was my the last build for 2013, finished on 31 December. I was getting my build bench cleaned off so I could start the new year fresh. You can tell this is a 1991 because the pillars are black. On the 1992 they are body color. I see in the picture that I forgot the black outline around the tail lights, easy fix and I smeared a little of the black trim, also an easy fix. It kinda seems like trucks and cop cars go together...... ....after all, I do see the drivers of the two of them stopped on the road "visiting"

you can almost always tell a cop car ! lol Be Well Gator True, I drove a 1992 Caprice (retired white cop car) for about 6 months. Everyone used to slow down and would never pass me. The car handled very well and was just plain stinking fast (it had the same engine as my Corvette), but I sold it because of all of the attention it got from others. Before I bought the car, the previous owner would go out, park on a side street and and aim his video camera (like a radar gun) at cars. He thought it was hilarious to see the people's reactions. I am not quite that twisted.
