I know that Microscale makes 1/2" white stripes, and I was thinking about using those. Problem is I need 3/8". Maybe using white decal paper is the way to go here & just cut my own. Any recommendations on brand? I've heard bad things about the Testors decal paper.

I've used Testors quite a bit and haven't had any problems - it was what I used on the Kingsway Louisville. Those stripes were cut .030 wide.
