Looks like a good start on this project. What are you going to put behind it?

I guess that would work?? But my choice would be a short beaded side trailer like the mail trailer in the double kit. But then again it is your choice!

You could also build a pair of single axle bottom dumps for a Cali style gravel train. either way. it is a nice start on a classic kit.

Fighting a nasty head cold so building had pretty well stalled for now.Ap40 those bottom dump trailers look real cool but not sure I could build them.Never scratchbuilt anything before.I had thought about one of the moving van trailers or the CF doubles.Who knows May not even put a trailer behind it.Thanks for all the input.

Well how things can turn in a heartbeat.I bought this kit off a buddy awhile back.He called me just a bit ago and his son went to get the kit so they could build it together(his son is 9)So he asked if he could buy it back so they could build it together.I let him have it back.Oh well I can find another sometime.
And thanks for the link Ap40.

Ap40 Read more: thetimbershop.proboards.com/thread/1745/white-sd#ixzz2uc5whD4J I agree with Rick. Those bottom dumps would be good first scratch build project. And that you gave the kit back to the original owner to be built with his son is a huge good karma thing!!! Be Well Gator

A very "class" act giving the kit back, and seeing your post brought back good memories as I built that kit as a youngster - likely back around 9 or 10 myself. I seem to recall hitching it to AMT's tank trailer.
