So here's a little project I've been working on in my "spare" time. It's a pair of Sweet Aviation Models 1/144 Macchi C200AS "Saetta". Here are the aircraft "built-up":
This is from the 85° Sqadriglia 18° Gruppo Autonomo, Lybia 1942 (I'm calling this one Flight Lead because of the white wing tips & the radio antenna):
And this is from the 364° Sqadriglia 150° Gruppo Autonomo, North Africa 1942:
The "props" are from PropBlur, and I think they look pretty good. Now it's just some detail painting & adding the bomb racks & canopies. A display base might be a good idea, too.

Jim, Those are an interesting departure from building trucks! But it looks like you are having fun with them.

Thanks, Gator. They have been a fun departure. The camoflague decals were kind of a pain, though. I think I'd build more 1/144 fighters. Maybe a pair of F6F-N Hellcat nightfighters, or a pair of F86 Sabers.

Now this is really neat. Shows the versatility of our modelers on this forum. I do a few model airplanes every once in a while for a change from the normal flow. Keep up the good work.
