Here is one of my recent builds, this is a scale I favor due to the variable kit availability and of course doesn't require as much space to have a collection The Peterbilt is a combination of one of our castings of the 379 (cab/hood) combined with a casting of the 389 casting we offer with the modified Norscott sleeper, removing the vent windows and keeping the door window line level makes this a 2005 version of the 379 according to Peterbilt expert Tim Ahlborn –whom I consulted for the can do’s and cannots on the subject, he satisfied my quest! After joining the 2 parts, the wheels are A -Line up front, Dennis Aust on the rear along with his Air breathers, Kibri full fenders on the rear mounted on a Tonkin Coronado chassis along with mirrors and sunvisor from a 386, air horns, load lights are from Athearn. Scratch-built items are the fuel tanks, exhaust stacks from aluminum tube, battery boxes and a frame mounted auxilliary unit, painted in autthentic BASF fleet colour for M-O. The trailer is a stock Athearn 53’ Wabash Duraliner converted to a 72” tridem suspension and a BLMA Thermo King reefer with Ken Goudy decals added. i888.photobucket.com/albums/ac85/Jimmyjacobs_bucket/Scale%20Models/010_zps8jzydqgm.jpgi888.photobucket.com/albums/ac85/Jimmyjacobs_bucket/Scale%20Models/009_zpsuphntoko.jpg i888.photobucket.com/albums/ac85/Jimmyjacobs_bucket/Scale%20Models/003_zpsdkj5cndd.jpgi888.photobucket.com/albums/ac85/Jimmyjacobs_bucket/Scale%20Models/014_zps2wmlky7i.jpgJim.

That's pretty neat looking! Do you have a railroad set to put it on?

No I don't Jim, wish I did but the small layout i once had never survived all the moves I made over the years!
