Here is a 1/32 scale NewRay item that clearly is over sized and as others have found here on this forum, works quite well as 1/25 Scale. I had taken the dimensions at the time and the best comparable machine I found was the 320D, it technically should have a wider track base but a narrow base was an option, that is the one it ended up to be. As it is in it's original state, molded in orange/grey  I cut out a window in the rear of cab  added a bottom for the main boom ![]()  added the windows and painted it in CAT yellow  added homemade decals. One shot out doors on the not completed trailer and tractor  I have more pictures since this one but can't find them off hand. I will add them when I find them. Thanks Jim |

Jim,
You have a pretty good looking rig there. I like all the modifications to the AMT lowboy. It looks real good.
I hope you find the rest of your pictures of this model!

Thanks Gator! I haven't totally completed that trailer, needs lights and a bit of weathering and the old Western Star isn't quite finished up either. When I get at that I will post the whole unit in completed builds but for now the CAT is finished, here it is on the job  doing what they do best, playing in the dirt!!  Those where the shots I was looking for. Now I have to finish the hauler and the IH Fleetstar dump truck which is well on the way! Jim. |

I really like the up-dated tracks and the open door on your build Dave, looks great! I think the difference between the 320B and 320C is in the track width options if I did my homework correctly that is. It was hard to find one with a narrow track like that, I still should make the update though!
