The Pacific NW Model Car Fest car show and swap meet in Portland is Saturday March 31 if any body is interested. Holiday Inn Airport 8439 NE Columbia Blvd. Hours are 9 to 4. Themes are pickups and emergency vehicles. website is www.sabanw.org I have never been to this before, but I am thinking of going this year. Dave |

I've been several times, bring lots of $$$ because you'll be kicking yourself if you don't! and get there before I do, if you don't all you'll see is me hauling my trucks out to the car!
It's also a good excuse to hit the Wholesale Sports on 82nd and on Lancaster in Salem too!

The "Show" is ok, there are some GOOD models, cars, trucks, and some nice dioramas too!
The swap meet is what I go for, there is usually a good selection of older models and a good selection of current ones too, prices are from damneer giveaway! to more than the inflated FleBay prices.
Last year I got a Pay Star 5000 dump truck new in open box for $15 and he had another factory sealed for $20!, could have had several ALF Pumpers for less than $20, scratched my chin a little to long and watched two trucks get snatched up right in front of me!
I'll be standing in line about 8:45!

You guy's are lucky and yes, I have been to that show but I have looked all over here in the valley of 4 million people (Phoenix, Arizona) and find no shows or anything. It's a bummer.

Dave. I have always lived in the country until I moved to Prinetucky............oops! Prineville, OR and there I was on the edge of town. Even here I'm one stop light from the desert.
