Hi Clayton
Heres where the English/American jargon gets confused.
If you mean the chrome fender at the front, then it came from a US supplier (cant remember his name) it came as a one piece metal item and needed no adjustment, just glued right onto the front.
If its the guards over the rear axles, then they are Mercedes SK wheel arches, taken from the italeri kit. I just glued them together and used rod to atach them to the chassis.
Hope that helps.

I think he means the rear fenders over the axles there Andy. We over here call the chrome peice in front a bumper which is a lot different than what you modelers in England call a fender. Its like we call a hood, which covers the engine and over there it is refered to as a bonnet. I think its great when you can learn the Jargon or laguage of the other side as it expands the mind on the difference's of other modelers. In Okinawa when I was there, I can't remember the word they used but when you translated the Japanese word out a bumper or fender was basically called a pusher guard.
What kind of paint did you use on the rig and who makes it? Is it Humbrall or another?

(the guards over the rear axles) those are the one! Here in the US most people I know call them Double hump fenders. here is a good site for ideas. some of this stuff I have tried to make but it is real hard for me. Look at the lime green Pete I built those guards over the rear axles I make those from flat sheet stock and sent them to erick(P&P resin) and cast them. www.bigrigchromeshop.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?page=BRCS/PROD/UEFGFF/DH100-W

In Europe, or at least in the UK what we call fenders are most often reffered to as wings for spray suppression. Along with what we call mud flaps and that stringy looking stuff that hangs down and helps to block road spray.

Hi William
I generally use car paints on my trucks, the type you use to touch up your car. they come in aerosol cans.
