So here is a very preliminary mock up for a KW 848 off highway rock truck. 14" I beam frame rails, Rockwell SPRC-1927 planetary rear drives, K-B 30K front, AITM 14x24 boots. It will have a updated Cummins N-14 525 hp hooked to a Allison CL(B)T-754D. The cab is a combination of a old junk box glue bomb & the roof & wind shield section off a bad cab casting from RNK's C-500 kit. this makes a old severe service cab. the rear suspension is a KW 200K walking beam. The dump box started out as the front bulkhead / cab guard from the ERTL gravel trailer kit. I added 6.0mm to each side, and scratched the rest of the box from 1.5mm styrene sheet. out side ribs are all Evergreen strip stock. for scratch building a off highway dump box, most of the "duck tails" or open rear boxes, are at a 12 degree incline from the horizontal plane. That is surely a severe service truck! I really like the dump box you built!! it looks really good.

Rick a beast of a KW truck that is going to be a mean rock truck i only wish i had the skills to build big trucks like that pics of finished truck please.
