I just showed her a military C-500, and it got the stamp of approval, so I may chop, hack and scratch the hood. Now that sounds like a right idea! I say go for and you've got the ok from da boss!!! Be Well Gator |

Now that it's decided, does anyone know where I can get some chassis reference. I want to build it up as a 70s C-500T. The hood sits a bit higher, and I'm sure the fronts of the rails are gonna need some altering.  Oddly enough, I found this C500 with a W900 hood while looking around.  |

I'm pretty sure the C500 has straight frame rails, and does not have the drop in the front like the W900.

I know both trucks are pretty far apart, but I'm too broke to go crazy buying conversion kits and whatnot. I just have to find something to do with what I have at the moment, and I really don't mind doing a ton of scratchbuilding.

Do you have any reference pics of the frame rails? I've looked all day, and I've found plenty with clear shots of the suspension and open areas of the rails, but I can't find any with clear shots of the front of the rails or the hood hinges.
