Gorgeous work You even have the bear on the hood!! Only problem is, you didn't take nearly enough of the Alberta mud with you!! we still have to occasionally chain up!! Water skiing behind a D-6 cat really only LOOKS like fun............ Nice to see the Hayes!! they were very good trucks, and had their own element of followers. Thanks for sharing with us Richard Cheers Roger Roger, Thanks man, i still have several pounds of Alberta mud. some will be used on a old KW C-500 bed truck in JoAnn colors. Ap40

Alas...Jo-Ann kind of went the way of the Mergers and Aquisitions route,,,,,,,For a while it was hard to keep track of who ended up where, there is still the occasion old purple truck kicking around, it seems a few of the lighter mack tractors that Jo-Ann had, now have gravel boxes on them and look as though they spend the majority of their time outrunning the DOT, pretty tired iron, still see the odd purple trailer kicking around as well. I used to live in the same town that Jo-Ann headed up their ops. so I got to know "Colonel Purple" pretty well, I believe he is now living out in British Columbia. The company started in the early 70's between two fellows and remained basically based out of Brooks Alberta, then they sold to another fellow and he grew it quite big, with satellite bases throughout the province, they did build some big stuff, they had a Commander , and a 953 Kw I don't know what ever happened to them, or where they ended up.
AAAHHHH those were the good old days,,,,,,,,,,,,,back when I could grow bangs....................
Cheers
Roger
