The windows have a sun bleach look to them. I had the same thing happen to one of my COEs using super glue. Its the vapors which fog em up. All in all its a great looking model and I love the use of the least used Testors Tanker. If you take two front pieces of the tanker and splice tham together add a roof walk and a few other detaild they make a pretty good late 50's or early 60's era hiway unit.
Still a nicely thought out and built unit.

Thanks! The Testors can is probably better suited for use as a rigid tanker truck. The glue vapor can be minimalised with Future Floor Polish, but it's kinda hard to put on the inside when the cab is sealed... ;D

Nice, even with the stated problems.
Window glass, i use Elmer's white glue, as it drys clear and never causes the fog. On resin kits i fit the glass to go in from the outside, tacking it in place first, then with a fine pointed tool, apply a bead all around the seam like you would calk a window on your home. makes for a very strong & clean install.
The tanker is a milk or dairy type as depicted in the old IMC / Testors kit.

I like that old tanker as well! And milk tankers had to be stainless steel. So they can be converted for other usage

Thanks guys! I plan to get the AMT tanker worked on not too far away in the future; what I heard it's a bit of a pain to get done.

Even though this one put up a "fight" it turned out well, I like your use of the more common style step/grab handles instead of the oddball kit ones. Frosted windows? Just say it's been parked outside on an Ontario winter night!
