I scratch built this little 20 ton end dump a few years ago, from factory drawings & measurements & photos taken of the actual truck at a local lime stone quarry. Mack END-865 & 5 speed direct LL trans, 16:00x25 rear tires & 14:00x24 front. Fun to build, took about 4 weeks to complete. Ap40 Attachments:

Rick,
I really like looking at your models. And the ones like this are really cool! They remind me of when I was a kid and the heavy rough looking trucks from back then!~

Another excellent piece of craftsmanship Rick,it's good to see someone who is into the quarry and heavy haul trucks,it gives people a chance to see something not found on the road,lots of folks don't even know this stuff exists,unfortunately these rigs spend a lifetime hidden in a pit somewhere........good stuff...keep on truckin' bro......Todd  |

I agree with Todd, there are a lot of peices of equipment hid out which a lot of people have know idea exist. Great job on this unit as with all of yours.
