Hi Joris, May I ask what kind of paint are you using? Enamels are acrylic? I personal preferb acrylic paint becaurse for my health and smell And the primer I use is the acrylic from Vallejo. If you use Enamels, are you using the primer from the Action supermarket? very cheap but good stuff to work with. Greets, Eddy

Thanks guys! Eddy, the paint I use is mostly Tamiya rattle cans, although the copper on this one is from Humbrol. For primer I use Revell's.

Joris, This is looking good. I have used the Humbrol paints a few times and really like them. Have yet to try the Tamiya, but have some in stock.

Thanks Gator! Yeah, seems like I'm hitting the home stretch on this one. Cut down the prop shaft tonight and painted it, put on the fifth wheel and the deck plate. After I have crammed in the prop shaft, it's safe to put the diesel tanks on by their flimsy mounts...

It sure is. That was exactly what I was thinking after having it cut down, painted and inspected it the next day. Hope it doesn't look too odd...

Thanks guys! To use that quote again: It's not about the size of your tractor, but about what you're able to do with it.

Cab's on, air filter and intake tube too. Next up is the exhaust and fuel tanks, then hood and mudflaps. Home stretch indeed.
