Awesome, I like the wheatering. Have you made this kit out of an AMT kit with some help with styreen? This kinds of trucks I can look at for houres Greets, Eddy Eddy, its a combination of a bunch of parts from the spare box and also Evergreen Plastic. The Pressure Tank for water on the back frame I made from Plastic and then cast in resin. This is the standard bunker tank of the era. The rig also has a mix match of tires as loggers aren't particular when it comes to fitting new tires on a rig as long as the diameter is the same. The stinger on the rear and safety chains are all scratch built as with the fenders and the trailer is combination of the ERTL and AMT trailers, so the reach on the trailer came out the right size. The AMT Trailer has a really off molded reach which is out of scale. The decals I made. William

Thanks for your comment William.
Is it difficult to scratch a stinger? Can you tell me what kind of evergreen I need to build one?
Greets, Eddy

Thanks for your comment William. Is it difficult to scratch a stinger? Can you tell me what kind of evergreen I need to build one? Greets, Eddy Eddy, I will get you all the information and PM it to you on the plastic for the stinger. And no it is not hard to build one. Its just a matter of extending the frame out in the rear to accomodate the pintal, Air and Electrical cuplers. The stinger helps the trailer follow better rather than have it bunching up on the truck. In the Camp Four section of this Forum there are a lot of pictures of these setups which I and a few other members have posted. There also you can find a lot of other helpful information which will help in building one of our American Logging Trucks. There is information posted all the time which keeps up on the industry and History which might also be very helpful in understanding the Timber Industry in the United States as it varies from state to state area to area. Hope this helps. William
