Here is my 99% scratch built Mack M-50AX. Cummins VT-1710 (V-12), Allison DP8960, Mack Planidrive rear, leaf spring suspension. The front axle is done in brass and is fully functional. I have a good friend who found 2 of these down in Tennessee and he took a pile of detail photos, and i found a parts manual at a truck show many years before i started this build. Start to finish, 7 weeks of nights & weekends. Yes, it is 1/24 scale.... Ap40 Attachments:

thought you would like that one. this truck in 1/24 is about as big as the old Tonka steel dump trucks from the 60's.
Rick, how right you are, both the Tonka toys and Hubley, have you seen what some of those old toys are bringing in?? Makes me wish I had all the ones we had as kids.

This truck is massive and sweet, and the detailing...Rick brought it to Fulton, NY last year...and I was able to see it up close...and he let me take some very nice photos...thank you
