Since these are almost finished and in the final stages, I thought I would post them here instead of Hints and Tips. First the ERTL Peerless Rebuild. The ERTL Trailer with the compesator rod pulled out to show the length of it. Underside view to show the Air and electrical lines. The trailer being Dark Green makes it a little hard to see. The trailer sitting top side up full view. Trailer connected to stinger showing modifacations I did to the coupler. Pete I am in the process of building to match the unit. The primary reason I built this unit was to haul the Hayrack Spanner. This shot shows the spanner which I again modified installed on the bunks. Next up a few shots of the Pete with the AMT Trailer which I completely rebuilt. It is in the final stages of construction also and nearing completion.

Excellent detail and shots to show your work.Would you include a few shots of how to hook everything up to the tractor? I can do modern highway trucks with the glad hands and electrical, but the logging trailers are still a mystery.

I will get some shots outside as soon as the weather clears up as once more it is raining here in Oregon. I will include a hook up shot.

William, I like the comparison, it shows the ertl to be a much better kit. Oh and the Pete's look good too!

The Ertl is a much better piece i believe and it has hassell bunks and stakes which are imo much nicer than the Peerless version. The air scales on the Ertl are a bit chunky but at least they look right. love the working compensator and the right size reach makes a whole lot of difference.

Hi muleskinner & all fellow modelers. Super build you got there. Great to see the brake lines added & love the green color. Also love the Peterbilt. Then you showed the Yellow model. Equally a Superb build. I'm currently building a Peterbilt 359 truck for my trailer. One of them Revell-Monogram models but with a few upgrades that the kit seems to be lacking in. Shouldn't complain. It only cost $US18.00 from hobbylinc.com Was really a bargain If i ever get this uploading of photos thing worked out with photobucket on this forum site i'll show some photos of my Peerless & truck when i get it finished. I'm sure it wont look as good as your's thou. Thanks
