Thanks, Mike. Actually it didn't take as ling as I thought it would. The truck itself is box-stock, then I just added the hoses & stuff.

Jim, You did a real nice job on that one. I like all the lit5tle extras in the Trumpeter kit. Your hose bed looks really good. An altermative to dying the hoses in to dye them using coffee grounds. You can get some real nice shades of brown.

Thanks, Gator. I've never built the Trumpeter kit (yet). This is the AMT kit, and it comes with nothing.
Thanks for the tip on the coffee grounds, I might have to give that a try some time. I used a oak stain on these.

Good looking hose bed. The brass couplings and the gate valve really set off the details. Fine lookimng rig carl
