 This is a picture of my Grandpa Allie Woods Crouse he was a high climber sometimes when he wanted to show off he would top the tree and then stand on top of the cut tree on one foot. He was a bit of a daredevil they say. |

Wow, I have a hard time getting on a step ladder to change a light bulb, so I have a lot of respect to the people that do and did climb trees with nothing more than an oversized shoe lace around them and a couple of nails duct taped to there feet  Dave |

Cool picture and story. I think that back then a lot of people were made of sterner stuff .
That he made a living as a logger is testament to that. As for being a show off. Can you say EGO!
