I am listing these books with picture of the covers in case any of you are interested in finding them at you local bookstore or outlet. You can print them and have a reference to make it easier to find them. A very good reference on the history of Cat products thru the years, starting from the founding of Holt and Best thru to the merger which became Caterpillar. This book cover various builder from around the world and gives and is loaded with pictures of their products. This book cover some of the older Logging Equipment to the modern day equipment and is broke down in sections for each. A very good and well illustrated book on Wild land fire Apparatus from around the USA. If any one is interested in the founding and the history of Logging In my Neck of the woods which is Coos County Oregon, This is the book you you will find it in. If you are interested in The history of logging in the USA from founding to modern fay operation this is an old Time Life book from their series the American West. It is a book which has been long out of print but can be found in a lot of used book stores. If you can find it I highly recommend it as a reference. One of my favorite books on the golden age of trucking. For anyone first starting out in the modeling of trucks and other vehicles this is a great reference for them.
