Thanks guys, The KW is waiting for resin and due to the wild fire in the area, no work has been done. BUT, I went to a truck junk yard and looked at a lot of old dumps. I have a few ideas for the detailing and the new wet kit.

I have spent many days off at truck scrap yards all over western New York, looking & photographing details & rust. Study how rust forms & eats the metal, paint & chrome. Look for the cut off old axles, and photograph where the grease accumulated as well as not. The same is true for the whole chassis. Welcome to the college of rust Ap40

Thanks for the comments!! The new tires and wheels are soaking in Bleche White as I type. Good lesson from the junk yard...fiber glass and aluminum don't rust!!!

Thanks for the comments!! The new tires and wheels are soaking in Bleche White as I type. Good lesson from the junk yard...fiber glass and aluminum don't rust!!! Right, BUT fiberglass fades, chips & cracks. Aluminum oxidizes with a powdery white dust & pits form from debris & winter time road de-icers. Ap40

This extra detailing just plain has gotten out of hand. So, I am going to continue this thread on the in progress thread.
