I have a lot of experience wrenching on these. Which branch of the military? I contemplated what colors, as every branch had these at one time or another. Just like they have been on all sorts of other chassis, such as the Mack DM-600, Dodge CNT-950, & the IH Fleetstar. Ap40

In the Army. Most all we ever had were Tan but I have seen them in flat black and olive drab also.

The Navy had them in dark blue, the marine's were mostly dark OD green. A local fire company (voulenteer) has one painted bright yellow, with multiple plastic water tanks on a flat deck. Odd looking beast.
