I took a couple of my models to my friend Brad (beetlebilt)'s house this evening and staged a few pictures of our models on the roads his boys built in the back yard. The loaded Mack is mine and the empty one and the old junker sitting in the turn around are Brad's Attachments:

Great looking trucks and the dio makes them come to life......one problem though, looks like the driver of the one Mack and International has some explaining to do,looks like they had a lil' bumper bumping

Looks good. I think it's cool that you can still play in the dirt. Mike

Mark. I have fond memories of the '40's and playing in the dirt with a toy truck. We didn't have many toys then so my truck was special and I don't know where it came from but I made roads of dirt and patted them down to look like logging roads. Mike

Mike Now we are bringing back some memories of our child hoods. When a Tonka truck was all metal, and you could leave it out side for years and it never faded. Nylint had others to dig & push the dirt, playing into the dusk only to be run off by a swarm of mosquito's... Ap40

I think Tonka and Nylint came out in the early '50's. My time was during the war and I had a metal truck about 1/32 scale that looked like a Ford F-5 or 6. Mike
