Here is my Avatar picture. The idea came from pictures sent to me of Thomas Ireland's fleet. I started with the Revell KW900 and lenghten the frame added a pusher Axel. The 2 hole budds and tires on the drives are from Plaskit and the Tires and wheels on the trailer are from the spares box. I painted it with M/M lacquer colors.Decals were custom made by Diest and decals.

Nice rig there. Now that would be Ireland Brothers Logging #28 from over the hill at Ten Mile between here and Roseburg. My cousine drove # 24 for many years. I could be wrong on this one but its got the same features. You said Thomas Ireland, so this would be the Brother out of Coos Bay, at Single House Slough about 15 miles from where I live here in Norway, Oregon.
Great build there.

Justin, The whole Ireland unit is family owned. The families live on Ireland Road over here in Ten Mile up by Ben Irving Reservoir, about 30 miles East of me. Thomas lives over in Coos Bay and handles about 15 or 20 rigs over there. The rest of the Ireland unit is over by Gillam and Winston and there is about 15 or 20 rigs there, give or take a few. There are some out toward the Diamond lake are east of Roseburg and scattered in and around the out laying hollers of Douglas and Jackson Counties. I'm not sure but and don't quoate me on this but I think they survived the big logging slump and now are the biggest famly owned trucking outfit here in the southern area of Oregon. I know a few of the drivers and they honk as they go by the house here where I live on Hiway 42 in Norway, Oregon. Got to know them through my cousin when he was driving for Ireland. Some where I have a few pictures of My cousins rig with a turned trailer and dumped load on it which I will post. He was driving a mule-train at the time. One thing I will say about your model is the yellow should be a darker almost Cat yellow instead of the sunburst yellow. It looks brighter than it is in the sunlight. When I post the pictures you will see what I mean. Also on the side of the hood the top of the yellow line should arch back and down ward instead of straight back and down. In the top photo here which is all I could find right at the moment you can see a littlwe how the yellow archs back and is a darker color. The rig is a t-800 but the color layout is the same for all there rigs now. The picture you got a hold of may have been one of the older rigs. They have been this color as long as I've been around them and logging in areas where they hauled out of. I see if I can round up a few more photos for you. If you got the one you did this rig off of Hanks, then it most likely is one of Toms older rigs in the old paint scheme of dark Yellow and blue with the straight line yellow on it. William

Justin, That is a great looking rig you have there. I like the color combo. It really stands out. And as far as more photos go. I am with the rest of the crew. OH , seeing you basement set up. How about posting some photos or your workbench and stash. In the Workbench section.
After reading further in the Forum, I see that you have posted photos of your workshop. Reall nice.

I will see about getting some more pics. William I went with an older version. I had a photo of an old W900 in the weeds and the colors had changed on the newer units.. I may do one of the new T800 in the future with the current colors scheme.

Justin, Thanks for posting additional pictures. That is one really nice looking model. I am thinking the chassis is long enough to put a mule train behind it
