another view, tarps are "Kleenex" soaked in a mix of white glue & water, then placed on the model wet & allowed to dry. Then painted accordingly. Ap40 Attachments:

Rick, That looks pretty good. Kinda brings back memories. Though the one we used in Nam were a bit different.

That is what i thought. BUT if you want to scratch build one, I have thought about this, take the best CCKW kit, like the Tamyia 1/48 scale version & double every dimension & bang, 1/24 scale. Or take the 1/35 from Tamyia or anything else for that matter, and multiply each dimension by 1.45 to equal 1/24. It will time consuming, but it is a great way to get what you want. Ap40

Now thats a great build of an old dodge vintage twice and a half. Navy had a couple of them still pounding the beat in Cam Rahn Bay when I went through there while in Nam. Great opld rigs.
