All, Below is a link to my Photobucket gallery with a bunch of detail shots of the engine in my truck. Same engine as the AMT kits. . . Most of the lines are original. Some of it is hacked. I'm slowly getting things dried up and squared away. Mostly I've been worried about making things safe first. We're at the point where cosmetics can be worked on next summer. Some notes: Truck was spec'ed with A/C. I haven't put the compressor back on it after I replaced the air compressor. Note the plate on the aftercooler for the ether canister. Radiator is an all aluminum 5 row unit. Oil pan doesn't have a flat floor it slopes to the right side. (Don't know how many of these I filed flat over the years because I thought it was crappy molding.) No power steering, no front axle brakes. s148.photobucket.com/albums/s31/Rustymachine/1973%20Kenworth%20Detail%20Shots%20for%20Model%20Building/Thanks for looking. Matt

Thanks for posting those photos. Will this be coming to Fulton this year, or is it not driveable yet?

Wow, considering the age of the truck, it is in remarkably good condition. no signs of excessive oil leaks or blow by. Next time you take her out for a trot, it would be worth it to find a shop with a steam jenny & really blast everything off. We did this 99% of the time at the dealership, helps to find leaks while at the same time gets rid of all the road grime and years of gunk before you start wrenching on it.
One of the many benefits of diesel.
