Nice,
Paper is a remarkable medium for modelling. takes more patients & creativity. It does have some limitations (like tires) but you obviously over came that hurdle rather well.

Well done piece of modeling , William. Cardboard is just another tool in the scratchbuilders arsenal.

Carl, there are a lot of places even now in my scratch builds where I use poster board, for unruly parts. Once its painted and weathered you can blend it right in with the plastic. Wood is another media which I often use in models. A lot of times when I am making multiple cogs for gearing in some of my older models I use strip wood to make them as it is cheaper than strip plastic.
