as we all know Rusty Nail is famous from the movie Joy Ride and he drove the famous 1985 Peterbilt 359 EXHD, thus is what I built here using the Revell Snap kit, althought what you see here is basically box stock it has some modifications on it, the headlights come from the AMT Wrecker kit, the Visor comes from the Revell W-900 kit, the chrome breathers actually come from the 1/28th scale Metal Testers Peterbilt 378, the Fuel Tanks also actually come from the Metal 1/28th Scale Freightliner FLD-120 and the bunk is the original bunk, plus a GMC Astro 95 Sleeper joined together, The Frame was sctreched as well and this was the resault, at the time I used the original 3406B 425HP Cat motor as at the time I didn't have a 3408 650HP Cat motor avabile
Now, Rusty Nail still had a black Peterbilt 359 for the 2nd movie made in 2008, the one in the second movie was a 1984 Peterbilt 359 EXHD with a Cummins engine, but there version was different, so I not only did the first movie's version, but I did the second version as well, an old Revell kit was used to make this one the frame was streched, Fuel Tanks, Visor and Sleeper stolen off of the Revell Kenworth W-900,stack tops were cut off and replaced with metal 1/28th scale Stack tops from Testers Freightliner FLD-120, drivers side breather & Passenger side Convex Mirror was a left over from the parts box and the rest is all box stock, oh yeah the motor in this one make it looks like a red ISX Cummins, but, actually it's a red side part & Top, making a Red Top N-14 Cummins, but that was a mistake, wanted a red top motor to be different, than thought of it after, black motor with red top engine is N-14 Cummins, when I was trying to do a different NTC-400HP Cummins, anyway, enjoy
Thanks for looking...
