thanks again rick, drove a c500 with a 3306 ex mixer most worthlessly underpowered thing ever. If i remember right half that poor little 966 engine was mostly in the cab. dont worry no bright n shinys on this one steel hopefully. the radius rods make sense to me to now thank you. Good god man, those 3306's were gutless when new. never seemed to fail that when spec'ing a mixer so many were under powered to the point of get out & push it your self. Like a shop near where i used to live, that had several Paystar 5000's with 8 yard smilth barrels and non-turbo Drip-troit 6-71........ Glad to help on specs and such. Ap40

Ap40 We had two 1975 Paystars at work years back, and they were mixer chassis. They had 6v53 detroits with an automatic and a 3 speed brownie. Worst truck I ever drove, they would struggle to move when empty than try and get them going with a load on was almost impossible. Dave

so heres where she sits rite now. Hope you all are enjoying this adventure i know iam. Its not perfect but i had a really hard time finding a good picture at the front of the cab so this ones going to be called a rebuilt SD cab. If it wasnt for rusty grapple i wouldnt have what i have for pics of the real ones. Theres still aloooot of touch up and minor reworking before primer but i gotta say im dam proud of it so far and criticzim is welcome and encouraged. Just one final note to those who are afraid to scratch build something it is very possible, hell im just a 25 year truck driver and i yes i make mistakes but thats how we learn. enjoy the rest of the weekend and ill be back soon.
