Thanks guys! I think the next truck model may be one without any chrome goodies........005 shim brass used for headlight visors and base of bug deflector. (Clear portion will be added after painting) Rivet decals added along back of grille shell where it attaches to hood.

"Fiddly bits" here, white lights in back of cab and trailer air lines. Glad hands and trailer plugs are resin parts from Plaskit, lines are 24 gauge wire insulation. Loom is black electrical tape cut to width.

WOW, just WOW. So now you have managed to raise the bar to a new level for all of us, will you follow suit with the same degree of coolness with each new build?! ;D ;D ;D ;D Ap40

Thanks Rick, truthfully I need to work on improving the paint and decals end of things. Close up photos really show flaws there! A couple more small detail items fitted, blind spot mirror over passenger window made up from styrene strip, brass shim cut to width and some .025 styrene rivets. Drop of epoxy used to form convex portion. CVSA decal on vent window made using photo of a real one (OK, it was a 2011 but only the "1" appears so we'll say it's 1991!), visor in place. Two more of those little .025 rivets use per side for visor attachment.

Reinforcing around back of hood represented with .040 styrene, more of the .025 styrene rivets used for fastener detail where fender mud flaps attach. Next step for the hood is primer!

Thanks Tim, I guess I have a soft spot for Labatt's gold colour scheme as I remember it from when I was growing up. They definitely lost something when they went to plain blue, their gold trucks were instantly recognizable and always looked sharp. Half fenders over lead drive axle made from K&S .016 sheet aluminum with brass tube crossbar. They still need to be painted Alclad chrome.
