Back to business. Here's the assembled and painted cab with the daycab panel. It fits so well I didn't need any filler at all! Next challenge is to not smudge the paint in detailing...

Close to get the wrecker boom on the tow body. Here's how the boom looks, the body needs some minimal touch-ups. Since I have no knowledge whatsoever on wreckers, I might have skipped something in the detailing. Also, Italeri wants you to build the boom extended, but with the tow bar at the end still in the up-position. This seems a bit illogical to me, so the boom on my truck will be in the down-position, like the truck is rolling.

Thanks Mike! I hope it isn't getting boring, but here's the complete tow body, ready for installment on the Pete frame; going to see what lenght I have to cut out of the frame rails before assembling that. Also, am I going to put the blue Detroit 60 Series in, or should I make it a yellow 'Detroitopillar'? Still have time to figure that out, primer needs to go on the parts first no matter what.

The pete snap kit by revell Has a waving flag decal in it. If you can get a hold of it. There is only one in each kit so you you would need two.

You mean the one that goes on the back of the sleeper, right? I think it's too big. I was also thinking more in the style that Union Pacific puts (or has put in the past) on their locos. But thanks for the tip!
