An HO scale unit of the Union Pacific Flag should work. You can get them in the decal section at www.walthers.com

Thanks Ryan!
On another board someone suggested that instead of cutting the frame short, I'd scratchbuild a saddle-toolbox to fill the gap. Now that guy got me thinking...

I put the engine aside for tonight, worked on the storage locker. OK, it needs some filler and some sanding here and there, but you get the idea.

Thanks Gator! ;D ;D
Going to sand down the locker body tonight, see if I can get at least one coat of paint on. Wednesday night is always a great kitbuilding night, with this Blues-show on my favorite radio station.

Joris, I can understand the music thing, And I like the blues and jazz as well as many other types of music. I don't listen to FM radio any more as it is all canned and the they play the same things every night at the same time .I use the internet radio and have several stations I listen to. And most are commercial free!!

Over here too. My favorite internet radio station has no dj, and plays classic rock songs and stuff. Best thing is the Bluesbox every Wednesday night. Despite that hour is with a dj, he's not too bad and plays good blues and blues-related stuff.

Joris, From here I would have a hard time trying to tell you how to correct it..But I think the body needs to be disassembled and the floor of the bed raised?? But I won't begin to tell you how to do it.

Thanks Gator. I'm afraid I have to cut either the rails on the tow body (and risk breaking all kinds of delicate stuff) or cut in the frame rails. Since this is a family oriented board, I'm not going to reproduce the french words of discouragement I uttered when I realized this, but I'm going to take my time in solving this problem. I didn't come this far to get the project canned by this...!

OK, it needs some finetuning, but this looks way much better I think! Now to rebuild the tow body again... So far the damage seems repairable.
