You know, i really need to stop by the house and "raid" your filing cabinet. If I did that, I'd never get any decals printed--all my time would be spent "drawing" up new decal sheets. It's bad enough that Rick sends me files that I can actually use!!!!! ;D ;D

Those are some great pics, thanks Rick. I was wondering how good of a truck where the fwd. Dave FWD, was & still is a fantastic heavy duty truck manufacture, although now the full focus is just fire apparatus. That is the Seagrave name, even though the web site still has FWD at the top left of the page. www.seagrave.com/FWD (Four Wheel Drive) was best known for snow plows & later all wheel drive mixer chassis. the factory was in Clintonville Wisconsin, where development & testing worked side by side with manufacturing. The majority of trucks produced were all wheel drive, from the smallest to the largest & even when OTR tractors were built, they were more often that not fitted with a front drive axle. FWD manufactured there own axles & transfer cases, while in many cases using cabs from several other truck makers. Cab from Diamond T, International, Autocar, and Dodge were the most common. the later production cabs looked very similar to the Oshkosh with the signature reverse sloping front windshield. Ao40

Thanks for the info Rick. The company my dad worked for had an FWD that was a flatbed. The cab looked a lot like the Dodge Bighorn cab but not really sure. Never saw them use that truck though, and I never asked my dad about it. Thanks again Rick. Dave

Dave Dave, Yes that old Dodge cab was the one used on the Bighorn, CNT-950, and all of the smaller C series Dodge's. It was one of the last "vendor" cabs, after that one, they stayed true with there own cab design. Ap40
