Thanks! Some "modeller's licence" employed here, I am using pump from AMT's kit, I don't think Thibault ever installed an ALF pump in one of their trucks however it is plausible pump was a 2 stage one similar to kit part, based on photo caption stating 1,000 GPM pump capacity: 2 stage pump is about the only way a little gas engine could pump that much water! Kit pump mounts modified slightly to suit L700 frame, also fuel tank relocated to rear of frame (more "modeller's licence") due to clearance issues with body compartments:

This rig is coming along nice there Robert. I've been kicking arouns the idea of building Gross Loggings old fire rig. Might gon ahead and do it.

There is progress from previous photo - honest! Engine completed, rolling chassis ready for paint. Styrene pieces used to represent steering box & basic linkage as kit doesn't come with one.
